Deputy Attorney General, Pennsylvania, 1959-1960.

Certified Arbitrator of Common Pleas Court, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; American Arbitration Association;

Hon. Consul General for the Republic of Korea after appointment by the U. S. State Department and the government of Seoul, Korea, Active in Korean Community affairs in Pennsylvania; developing programs using political and business connections directed to furthering cooperation between Korean and Pennsylvania business in order to mutually expand their markets; acting as a liaison with the New York Consul General and the Pennsylvania Korean Community; have spoken at numerous business and educational functions regarding stimulating Koreans in the political and business process.

Personal

As a student of the American Civil War, and as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Civil War and Underground Railroad Museum of Philadelphia, Mr. Baum has spoken on many occasions regarding Philadelphia's role during the Civil War and focused additionally around the history of the Underground Railroad.
