More than 1,000 attorneys and clients circulated through the Top of the Tower at 1717 Arch St. Thursday, to celebrate one local law firm’s efforts to unite and network around the NCAA basketball tournament.

In its seventh year, Zarwin, Baum, DeVito, Kaplan, Schaer, Toddy P.C., attorneys at law, hosted their own March Madness event, one that has gained national attention over the years for its success.

“We thought it was a good opportunity for marketing and networking with clients and friends,” said Norman Zarwin. “It’s been a good synergy for us.”

Mr. Zarwin said Thursday’s event had the largest turnout to date.

“Our clients appreciate that we think of them for this kind of event,” he said.

Beginning at noon, clients, friends and colleagues of the Zarwin law firm, enjoyed complimentary cocktails and hors d’ourves. With the games on a large, flat-screen television as the centerpiece of the event, festivities took place until about 9 p.m.

“It’s more about the personal experience,” said attorney Mitchell Kaplan. “The games are an excuse to network and pretty much have a good time.”
