Paul Schmidt Adresses Montgomery County Industrial Development Corporation

On February 24, 2009, Paul M. Schmidt spoke before the Montgomery County Industrial Development Corporation on “Green Industry – Laws That Could Affect Your Business."  Mr. Schmidt explained how companies can take advantage of incentives for green practices, and identified critical contract issues for developers, engineers, architects, and other green product suppliers and customers.  Mr. Schmidt also addressed some of the pitfalls and opportunities for municipal green legislation.  Approximately 75 people attended the seminar, inlcuding green product and service providers, developers, manufacturers, and other users.  Mr. Schmidt is Co-chair of the Zarwin Baum's Environmental Practice Group, where he counsels clients on environmental and green industry issues, and litigates related disputes.  Mr. Schmidt is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Real Property Section, and the Chair of the Environmental Advisory Commission of Springfield Township, Montgomery County.
