Zarwin Baum Raises $45,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA, with the Help of a Few Players from the Philadelphia Eagles

On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, Zarwin Baum, raised $45,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA (BBBSSEPA) with Fashion Touchdown, hosted in partnership with Boyds in Center City.

After kicking off the evening cocktails and light bites, Philadelphia Eagles Fletcher Cox, Malcolm Jenkins, Jeremy Maclin, DeMeco Ryans, Mark Sanchez and Marcus Smith donned clothes from Boyds and participated in a stylish fashion show, emceed by FOX29 Good Day Philadelphia co-anchors Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley. The fashion show included appearances by Jamila Ryans, wife of DeMeco Ryans, and Morrisa Jenkins, wife of Malcolm Jenkins. The evening culminated with Jerrick and Holley auctioning off signed jerseys from the participating Philadelphia Eagles players.

Other special guests included comedian and TV personality Joe Conklin, 94WIP host and former Philadelphia Eagle Mike Quick, Senator Larry Farnese, NBC10 reporters Brittany Shipp and Jillian Mele, former Philadelphia Eagles Raheem Brock, Hollis Thomas, Vince Papale, and AJ Feeley, and former professional soccer player and Olympian Heather Mitts Feeley.

Zarwin Baum’s commitment to community was the driving force behind Fashion Touchdown. From the firm’s annual March Madness event, to PHILAlympics, the firm steps outside of the box when assisting organizations across the Philadelphia region. “Zarwin Baum is proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA and the countless children it assists across the region,” said Zarwin Baum managing shareholder Mitchell Kaplan. “The firm is happy that Fashion Touchdown could provide people with a chance to connect with the organization and its mission.”

All dollars raised from Fashion Touchdown were through ticket sales, the jersey auction, and a percentage of Boyds shopping proceeds from the evening.
