WHAT: Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer Toddy, P.C., continues its Breakfast Series with ‘Brownfield Funding Opportunities: Public & Private Financing for Environmentally Distress Properties.’ The event, moderated by Zarwin Baum shareholders Darwin Beauvais and Paul Schmidt, will feature a notable panel of real estate professionals discussing: grant and loan programs administered by city, state and federal agencies for environmentally distressed properties; public financial assistance that may be available in 2015; existing private financing options for environmentally distressed properties; ‘service for equity’ partnerships for redevelopment projects; funding strategies that work best for various development projects; and how liability for environmental contamination can be transferred.
