Zarwin Baum Welcomes New Shareholder Charles A. McCauley III

Zarwin Baum is pleased to announce the appointment of shareholder Charles "Max" A. McCauley III. McCauley will run the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office, where he will focus on banking, bankruptcy, business, commercial litigation, creditor rights, and employment.

Prior to joining Zarwin Baum, McCauley honed his expertise in business, corporate, banking, real estate, employment, tax, litigation, and bankruptcy matters at other firms in the region. McCauley’s business expertise is supplemented not only by education, but through extensive experience garnered while managing his family's business and serving as general counsel for a multi-national group of privately-owned businesses in the software, healthcare, medical device, and furniture fields. What’s more, McCauley previously served as outside in-house counsel to businesses in the trucking, warehousing, real estate development, medical services, and telecommunications industries.

The co-author of an article on Developments in Delaware Corporate Law, published in the ABA Annual Review of Developments in Business and Corporate Litigation, McCauley also advises clients on electronic discovery issues and co-chairs the E-Discovery and Technology Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association. Additionally, McCauley is a current Board Member of The Rose Tree Colts and Media Youth Wrestling, and former President, Board Chair, and Finance Committee Chair of the Walden School.

McCauley graduated from Villanova University School of Law and has been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance at Pennsylvania State University, and his MBA at Villanova University.
