Wolfe Negotiates Settlement on Behalf of Commercial Real Estate Client
December 2009
Patrick J. Wolfe, Jr. has successfully negotiated a six-figure settlement on behalf of one of the firm’s commercial real estate clients. The matter involved a significant water damage loss at the client’s commercial property in Philadelphia caused by a contractor performing services at the property. The property at issue contained a bank and other commercial tenants whose businesses needed prompt remediation of this event. The client’s insurance policy had denied coverage of the loss due to services being performed on the premises allegedly causing the loss. Mr. Wolfe acted quickly in coordinating the efforts of both the client in dealing with its tenant issues and a public adjuster to assess and remediate the damage. Mr. Wolfe then efficiently and successfully resolved the matter with the contractor’s representative, without need for litigation. The firm’s client praised the quick, efficient and economical resolution to the matter without need for prolonged litigation.
