Zarwin Baum Welcomes Attorney Dawn M. Tancredi to Its Philadelphia Office

Zarwin Baum is pleased and honored to announce that Dawn M. Tancredi, Esquire has joined its Business Practice Group as a Shareholder. Dawn has been in practice for seventeen years focusing on real estate development with an emphasis on zoning and land use including appellate representation. Dawn also has vast experience in complex real estate transactions as well as property tax appeals. Prior to joining Zarwin Baum, Dawn was a partner at Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel, LLC.

With the hiring of Dawn, two of the three Co-chairs of the Zoning, Land Use and Code Enforcement Committee of the Real Property Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association are in Zarwin’s Zoning/Land Use Department. She also served on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar.

Dawn is a regular speaker and author on issues in her practice area. Her presentations include testifying by invitation of Philadelphia City Council regarding demolition regulations and lecturing at numerous seminars presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. She also teaches a class on real estate in the Construction Management Program of Drexel University’s College of Engineering.

Dawn has represented many high profile clients including the largest developer of high end student housing in the country, the largest Buddhist monastery on the East Coast, as well as one of the most prominent international hotel companies.

Dawn is accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as a leadership, energy and environmental design green associate.

She is a volunteer with Philadelphia VIP, an organization that promotes equal justice for the poor by providing civil legal services not otherwise available. Dawn is the past President of the St. Joseph’s University Law Alumni Association.
