Breana D. Barker
Breana D. Barker is an attorney in the Firm’s Insurance Defense Group. Her practice focuses predominately on civil litigation, with experience in premises liability, products liability, and complex commercial litigation. She handles all aspects of her cases, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
Breana earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener Delaware Law School. During her time there, she actively participated in various aspects of law school. She served as the President of the Black Law Students Association and worked as the External Managing Editor for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law Vol. 44. After completing her degree, Breana started her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Butler in the Superior Court of Delaware. Later she then managed a high-volume criminal caseload as a Prosecutor. She took immense pride in providing justice and fundamentally fair prosecutions for victims and defendants.
Before joining Zarwin Baum, Breana represented some of the country’s largest corporations and insurance companies in various premises liability cases. She also represented one of the nation’s largest retailers in premises liability and commercial litigation affairs. Breana always strives to provide competent and professional representation to her clients. Breana is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle District of Pennsylvania. When she is not representing her clients, Breana enjoys hiking and spending time with family and friends.
