Daniel S. Baurer

Daniel S. Baurer has been a member of the Maryland Bar since 2012, and the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars since 2016. Dan has handled Plaintiff and defense cases ranging from soft tissue injuries to catastrophic losses, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and dismemberment.

Dan is a shareholder and member of the Firm’s Insurance Defense Practice Group directed by Theodore M. Schaer. Dan concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation for both Plaintiffs and Defendants, many of which are significant and catastrophic damage claims. Dan is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of Maryland, and the State of New Jersey, including Federal Bar Admissions in the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the District of Maryland.

Prior to joining Zarwin Baum, Daniel was a shareholder for a Baltimore-based law firm, and managed its Philadelphia office, which primarily focused on Plaintiffs’ personal injury cases. Dan has extensive experience managing complex cases and working with grieving families through tremendous tragedies.

Dan was born and raised in the Greater Philadelphia area. He attended The Pennsylvania State University and received a degree in Marketing with a Minor in Business Law. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the Baltimore School of Law and graduated in 2012. During law school, Dan served as a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the law school’s Civil Advocacy Clinic. He also worked as a law clerk and intern for prominent personal injury law firms, and he has a deep understanding of both the Plaintiff side and Defense side of litigation.
