Michael L. Golden Jr. is an attorney with Zarwin Baum and focuses his practice ion the organization and operation of business entities and non-profit organizations with a particular focus on real estate development, manufacturing, and corporate finance.
After graduating from Yale College Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa and Yale University Law School, he accepted a position as an Assistant Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Department of Justice where he successfully represented the Commonwealth in litigation, challenging racial discrimination in the Philadelphia Fire Department and by filing an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court opposing sex segregated help-wanted advertising.
Michael and Roy Yaffe co-founded the law firm of Gould Yaffe and Golden in 1976. As an active volunteer, Mr. Golden has served as a Board Member and president of the Gershman Jewish Community Center and the Lower Merion Library System, which successfully initiated a major capital campaign and capital improvement project during his tenure as President.
