Robert R. Mathias is a shareholder in Zarwin Baum’s insurance defense litigation department. His practice focuses on matters related to construction defect, premises liability, and auto related claims.
Robert graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999 and began his legal career clerking in the Ocean County Civil Division for the Hon. James P. Courtney, Jr., Ret. in 1999-2000. Since that time, he has practiced in the insurance defense field representing clients in numerous areas including commercial and personal auto defense, DRAM shop, construction defect matters, and premises liability claims. Robert is admitted to the State and Federal District Court of New Jersey. He has also appeared and argued in the New Jersey Appellate Division. When away from the practice of law, Robert enjoys spending time with his family at the Jersey Shore, playing golf, and boating.
