Career Biography

Lionel A. Prince has been practicing law in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties for years, serving more than 1000 clients to include individuals, businesses and religious institutions. He has also taught at various medical and dental schools. Prior to joining Zarwin Baum in 1994, Lionel was senior partner at Prince & Goodman with offices in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.

During the course of his practice, Lionel has represented numerous owners, builders and developers with respect to residential, commercial, religious and industrial property development and renovation including sale, purchase, leasing, construction and permanent financing. He has counseled churches and synagogues on real estate and corporate matters as well as represented banks in lending to real estate owners and developers. Lionel also represents the Philadelphia Local of the APWU in the list of postal union locals. 

Lionel is a Judge Pro Tem in the Philadelphia Mortgage Foreclosure Program. He sits as a mediator and attempts to avoid foreclosures in Philadelphia County in residential real estate of less than 4 units.

For individuals and general businesses, Lionel has advised on the formation, governance, finance and other issues which arise during the course of operation. He is attorney for various locals of the American Postal Workers Union, including Local 7048 – Philadelphia Bulk Mail Center, Local 89, Local 2233, Eastern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania area local and Pennsylvania Postal Workers.
