Represented TD Bank in a $30 million loan to PHMC West, an affiliate of Public Health Management Corporation, to support the expansion of its outpatient programs for adults and children and to begin the construction phase of an adult and child/adolescent outpatient mental health and substance use disorder program in West Philadelphia on the site of the former Mercy Philadelphia Hospital.  The TD loan is supporting the $80 million renovation, restoration, and development of the PHMC Public Health Campus on Cedar, which opened on March 25, 2021. PHMC is working with partners – Penn Medicine, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Independence Blue Cross Foundation – to transform the site into a 21st century hub for health and wellness. The project also supports local job retention and job growth, with an estimated $217 million in economic impact based on an independent review from Econsult Solutions, Inc. Partners Alan Wohlstetter and Scott Goldstein of Zarwin Baum headed its legal team, with a major contribution from Clerk Joseph Braun.

Kenneth Fleisher and Scott Goldstein closed a series of loans totaling in excess of $10mm made to a developer and property manager to acquire several multi-unit apartment complexes in Philadelphia.
