Attorney Spotlight: Franklin C. Love

November 5, 2018

Franklin C. Love joined the firm in April 2018 and has been practicing law since 2002. Frank primarily focuses his practice on insurance defense matters, including premises liability, construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, product liability and construction defect. Frank has successfully defended numerous insurance carriers and self-insured companies throughout his career and has an exceptional reputation with his clients, colleagues and judges. Frank is known and appreciated by clients for his ability to efficiently defend their interests and resolving cases quickly and in their best interests.

Frank recently won a defense verdict in a case in which he represented the owners of a home in the Society Hill section of center city Philadelphia. Plaintiff, the owner of a nearby condominium, was injured when he tripped and fell on an allegedly snow covered sidewalk in front of the client’s property while on his way to an ATM. Frank successfully argued that the plaintiff assumed the risk of walking home across the subject sidewalk despite knowledge of the weather conditions and ignoring the safer route he had taken on his way to the ATM. The jury returned a defense verdict.

Frank graduated from Pennsylvania State University and Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. Frank is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey State and Appellate Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Frank is married and has two young children. Frank is a huge sports fan, especially Penn State football, the World Champion Eagles and 76ers, and when he is not chasing his kids around, he enjoys spending Saturday afternoons watching the Nittany Lions in State College and the Eagles in South Philly.
