Zarwin Baum Continues Support of S. Weir Mitchell School With Playground Beautification Project

August 5, 2014

On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer, P.C., continued its support of S. Weir Mitchell School, located in Southwest Philadelphia, with a cleaning of the school’s playground, in anticipation of a new rubber floor being laid.

Zarwin Baum attorneys and staff were on hand to assist in providing the students of the S. Weir Mitchell School with a clean and safe playground to use. The firm’s efforts included: clearing debris and litter from around the playground; pulling up old rubber floor tiles; and washing down playground equipment.

In February 2014, the firm adopted the S. Weir Mitchell School after discovering the lack of resources available. With the adoption, Zarwin Baum pledged an ongoing commitment to providing the school and its students with the tool necessary for success. The firm kicked off the adoption with the creation of an “Anti-Bullying” themed mural with noted artist Perry Milou, students of the S. Weir Mitchell School, and Zarwin Baum attorneys.
