Zarwin Baum Welcomes Attorney Philip J. Odett

March 29, 2016

After ushering in 2016 with the announcement of promoted shareholders and the addition of new associates in key practice areas, Zarwin Baum will close out the first quarter of the year by welcoming another attorney to the firm: associate Philip J. Odett. Odett joins the firm’s Jersey City office, where he will focus primarily on insurance defense matters including premises liability, construction accidents, products liability, motor vehicle accidents and liquor liability.

Before working at Zarwin Baum, Odett spent nine years at a mid-sized law firm with offices in New York and New Jersey, where he practiced in the insurance defense field. During this time, he handled cases from inception through to trial, won numerous motions for summary judgment, and mediated several multi-million dollar cases. This has earned Odett an exceptional reputation among his clients, colleagues, and judges.

Odett graduated from the University of Wisconsin and Seton Hall University School of Law. Odett is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, including the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.
